Banana Loaves
When bananas start to turn a bit brown, its the perfect excuse to make banana loaves!
This recipe makes 6 small loaves and 1 large one.
Ingredients:
10oz Self raising flour
10oz Self raising flour
10oz Butter (softened)
10oz Caster sugar
4 large eggs
3 large bananas
3 large bananas
2 tsp Baking powder
Method:
Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees (160 for fan assisted ovens) and grease some loaf tins
1. Mix together the butter and sugar
2. Add in the eggs and mix
3. Sift in the flour and gradually combine
4. Add the baking powder and banana
5. Pour the mixture into pre-greased tins
6. Bake (30 mins for small loaves, 45 mins for larger loaves)
7. Stick a knife into the middle of the loaf, if it comes out clean, its cooked
